Hopefully you finished January with record results. Here’s an example from just one of our members.   Posted a couple of days ago. I sincerely believe that 2025 will be the best year ever for our industry.  The fact that the opportunity is there doesn’t tell you much about any individual school, unfortunately. Most schools fail.  Most of them in the first year. Those that survive that first year are most often in the “Walking Dead” category.  That means that the owner would make more money working for others than running their own business.   Often times even working a “day job” and then putting money into their school to keep it running as a “hobby.” What do you need to do to make sure you hit record results for this EXCITING year? Well, there are a number of moving parts. Fix your drop out rate. Get your average revenue per student – or, said another way – your life-time value per student in line to pay your bills and make strong net income. Add enough students to get to your target enrollment level. Most students fail at all of the above. Interestingly they think that their students love them – that their dropout problem isn’t a problem.  Reality is that if you lose 5%, 7% or more very month – then you’re more or less turning over your entire school every year. That’s just being a “Hamster on a Wheel” – endless effort getting no where.
