👏 We are pleased to announce that Gary Keimach, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Pricing Strategy, has been appointed to the Board of North American Shippers Association (NASA). As Senior Vice President, Gary oversees all aspects of Martignetti’s wine and spirits supply chain, working closely with our Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Northern New England selling divisions. Gary is a valued member of our executive team and his proven expertise and dedication to operational excellence have made a significant impact at Martignetti Companies. NASA is a not-for-profit buying cooperative. They pool together shipment volume to get competitive ocean shipping contracts on North American trade lanes. Their members includes beverage alcohol importers, wholesalers, overseas suppliers, control boards, and other importers of other beverages and products affiliated to the alcohol beverage industry. The NASA Board and staff is a valuable resource to members for all matters related to global trade, importing, and beverage alcohol regulations.

Over the past decade, this event has become a cornerstone for the industry, uniting women from all sectors of the beverage alcohol field. This year’s symposium, themed ‘The Power of YOU,’ welcomed more than 200 attendees.
Keynote Speaker, Claudia Schubert, President and Chief Operating Officer of Diageo North America, captivated the audience with her personal career journey, reflecting on the past decade in the industry, and giving attendees an insightful outlook for the future.
Keynote Speaker, Fran Hauser, career expert, celebrated author, and advocate for women in the workplace—offered practical advice on how women can take control of their careers.
We hosted a panel of incredible women from all over the industry including Andrea Marquis, VP Sales and Marketing, Martignetti Companies NNE, Carolyn Wente, Chairman Emeritus, 4th Generation Winegrower, Wente Vineyards, Niki Wente, Director of Vineyard Operations, 5th Generation Winegrower, Wente Vineyards, Andrea L Pendergast, Co-Owner, Cape Cod Package Store Fine Wine & Spirits, and Kim Wallace, Chief Operating Officer, 110 Grill, moderated by Jillian Capone, VP, Commercial Alignment, Martignetti Companies. Each brought their own unique perspective to an ever changing industry.
Guest also had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions that dove deeper into topics including ‘The Power of Movement’ with PJ O’Clair, award-winning fitness and wellness expert, ‘Leveling Up / Elevator Pitch’ with Holly Mohre, AVP, Sales Development, Martignetti Companies, and ‘The Principals of Blind Tasting Wine’ with Brad Fichter, Corporate Wine Educator, Martignetti Companies, Lois Leonard, Corporate Fine Wine On-Premise Manager, Martignetti Companies and Amber Frye, Corporate Fine Wine Specialist, Martignetti Companies.

Earlier this month we celebrated new brands, trending portfolios, and diverse offerings at the ‘Emerging Trends Spirits Event’ at Pier 6 in Charlestown!
This was no standard tasting but rather a collaboration highlighting our Suppliers and Portfolio Managers that lead the industry in new and innovative ways. The event was a great success and we are grateful to all who participated with their knowledge, energy and time— and we look forward to the future of Spirits together!
