We're proud to be the title sponsor for Raleigh's hometown race, benefiting the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. The Martin Marietta City of Oaks Marathon will take place Nov. 3, 2024. This year, runners will make their way through a new course, passing by the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts along the way. There will also be a half-marathon, 10K race and 5K race.

Last Flag Day, our Military & Veterans Community employee resource group introduced new guidelines to help ensure the U.S. flag is flown properly at every Martin Marietta location. They also provided guidelines to site leaders about proper etiquette on when and how to fly a flag at half-staff. This year, we’re proud to provide additional guidelines from our Military & Veterans Community employee resource group on how to properly display and fold the flag.
