This specialized service offers personalized support to patients throughout their cancer journey, ensuring timely treatment and access to critical resources beyond medical care, such as transportation and financial assistance. One key benefit? Studies show a structured navigation program like ours can reduce the time from diagnosis to the start of treatment by up to 11 days - a crucial advantage in cancer care. By addressing the social determinants of health and enhancing communication between patients, caregivers, and providers, our navigators help improve treatment outcomes and reduce overall costs. 🌟 We had an amazing time at the third annual Louisiana Oncology Dietitian's Conference last month! 🎉 It was a day dedicated to deepening our understanding of nutrition in oncology. Dietitians from across Louisiana gathered to gain valuable insights, connect with DME companies and explore nutrition supplement options. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the event's success, and thank you to Pennington Biomedical Research Center for hosting us!
