The organization serves as a forum to advocate and facilitate the provision of competent, effective, efficient, and compassionate healthcare, with an underpinning of nursing leadership’s role in that process. MONL is an affiliate of the American Organization of Nurse Leaders and strives to provide you with valuable information related to significant issues you are facing in this ever-changing healthcare environment. MONL promotes educational programs dealing with current issues relevant to nursing administration, nursing education, deans and directors, and healthcare, as well as promotes participation for growth and development through professional activities aimed to refine management skills of upcoming and new nurse leaders.

The MNRC is pleased to announce that Dr. Jaime Van Allen, Director of Nursing Practice and Outcomes at UM BWMC has joined the MNRC Team as the new contracted Career Pathways Coordinator. Jaime Van Allen, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, NEA-BC, CV-BC joins us with over 12 years of nursing experience and has extensive knowledge and expertise in Nursing Education and operations, Evidence-based Practice, Nursing Professional Development and Acute Care LPN/CNA integration. In addition to her role at UMBWMC, Dr. Van Allen has served as a clinical instructor with Anne Arundel Community College teaching both ADN and LPN students since 2016. She helped in the development of an LPN transition program and a CNA pathways program at UMBWMC. It is because of this expertise that we are confident in Dr. Van Allen’s capacity to help improve LPN and CNA integration and pathways throughout the state.
