It’s not just Rocket Science!🚀 Join MASA-Dearborn and explore the fundamentals of rocketry through our Level-1 Certification class, held every Thursday from 4:00-6:00 PM and Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM in MSEL. In this course, you’ll have the opportunity to build and launch your own model rocket, working towards earning a national rocketry certification. Our team’s work extends beyond rocketry. Attend our mechanical meetings every Wednesday at 6:00 PM in IAVS 2004, where you’ll learn CAD and 3D printing. Additionally, join our electrical meetings on Thursdays at 6:00 PM in IAVS 2004 to gain hands-on experience with Altium for electrical design. #MASADearborn #Engineering #Design #Mechanical #Electrical #CECS #UMDearborn #GoBlue #GoDearborn #Rocketry #Tripoli

On Saturday, MASA-D attended an outreach event supporting girls in FIRST Robotics. This was a great event for highschool and middle school students to learn STEM skills that can propel them into a future engineering career. The team raffled off a Cert 1 rocket kit to inspire more to be interested in rocketry. #umdearborn #firstroboticscompetition #girlsinstem #goblue #frc

Today marks the completion of my summer internship with Altair as an Application Engineering Intern! It has been an absolute surreal experience being an Altarian this summer and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity. 🤩 Over the past few months, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project that explored creating stress and displacement ML models for a flanged pipe using #physicsAI! This experience allowed me to also deep dive into other Altair One products like HyperMesh and Inspire, which significantly enhanced my skills in FEA, CAE, and simulation. 🤖 As I head back to University of Michigan-Dearborn next week to start my junior year in mechanical engineering, I’m eager to apply all that I’ve learned to my classes and student-led design teams, such as MASA-Dearborn Rocketry Team. 🚀 Additionally, a heartfelt thank you to Jason Craanen and Chayan Basak for not only entrusting me with this position but for also being incredibly helpful and supportive as my mentors. I quite literally could not have done this without them. 🥹 #OnlyForward #TeamAltair

(1/2) Hello LinkedIn! This is a bit of a late update but I would like to let everyone know that I have graduated with Distinction from the University of Michigan - Dearborn, earning a Bachelors of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Computer Engineering back in April 26, 2024! I am extremely grateful to everyone who has helped me along the way and I would not be where I am without all of your help! I would like to thank Plinio Pannunzio, Felipe Ferrari, Elton Junior, Luis Arturo Reyes, Sangam Shrestha, and Zheyuan Wu for the time I have spent with Continental Automotive as a Software Engineer Intern during my final year at University of Michigan - Dearborn! In just a little over one year at the company, I have learned so much as what a software engineer does on a daily basis, and acquired some valuable problem solving and technical skills! I enjoyed learning about all the various and interesting projects that were happening within Continental Automotive and within the Continental Engineering Services and it was a pleasure working alongside all of you and I wish you all the best of luck! 😊 Special thanks to the MASA-Dearborn Rocketry Team, Mohamed El-Abdallah, Perla Fares, Bruna Osako Rocha, Alex Sufaj, Andrey Shturko, and anyone else that I may have missed! I am excited to see how the MASA-Dearborn Rocketry Team will grow over the coming years and it was a pleasure to work with all of you on this year's projects! Thank you for all the experience and memories that we made during my time at the MASA-Dearborn Rocketry Team! And finally I would like to thank my Senior Design Team members Puwanat Sapprasert, Emma Magner, and Maria Petkova! Our last year was an extremely difficult but a very fruitful year in terms of knowledge and experience and I enjoyed all of the projects that I have worked with each and every single one of you and the memories that we have made together! I hope that we will cross paths in the future one day!
