Introducing Renee Pecor! Renee recently joined Mascoma Bank as Chief People Officer. Let's learn a bit about her journey to her new role. Q: What is your background and experience? A: I have been leading HR functions for 20 years. I started out in insurance and was hired into an HR Manager trainee program, where I ended up staying in organizational development and training as I thoroughly enjoyed working across an organization on major initiatives or working with a team as part of a smaller project. After a few years with a large insurance company, I took the leap into technology. I worked in several high growth technology start-ups, which were eventually acquired. That allowed me the opportunity to work in very large, public technology organizations like GSI Commerce, eBay, and Fortive and I gained extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions. Q: Why Mascoma Bank? A: I joined Mascoma because I was intentionally looking for a business that was not a start-up, that had a great HR team in place, and that had a culture that was focused on customers and employees. Q: What is your focus moving forward? A: My focus is developing and building on what is in place now. With a focus on operational excellence, we will review and redesign processess that will better support growth and empower our managers with decision making. We will be focusing our development efforts for managers and employees based off data from surveys, interviews, and focus groups.

Imagine this: The ice cream man "needs" your bank password to run your card. Sounds absurd, right? If it seems off in real life, it's just as weird over a phone call, text or email. #BanksNeverAskThat Learn how to give scammers the cold shoulder: https://aba.social/3lpYQz4

Your bank will never ask you to help with an “investigation” or ask you to move money to other accounts. It sounds obvious, but these criminals are convincing. See what else your bank will never do: https://aba.social/3lpYQz4 #BanksNeverAskThat
