On National #GoodSamaritansDay, OGR recognizes the vital work of our grant recipient Samaritans, Inc. OGR awarded the Boston suicide prevention nonprofit $10,582 through the 2025 Commonwealth Nonprofit Security Grant Program to upgrade their physical security. The grant will ensure Samaritans staff can provide uninterrupted services safely and without fear. The nonprofit’s lifesaving services can be especially important in the aftermath of catastrophic events, including hate crimes and terror attacks, making Samaritans a key partner in recovery efforts following these incidents. #GrantsInAction If you’re having thoughts of suicide or worried about a loved one, call Samaritans at 988. Help is always available.
