Coming to the end of my time serving on the MAIA Board of Directors. Ten years is a long time, but I have truly enjoyed every mintue of giving back to the industry that has given so much to me, and made many life long friends along the way. A big thank you to SOUTHCOAST INSURANCE AGENTS ASSOCIATION INC, their outstanding panel of legislators—Senator Rodrigues and Representatives Fiola, Cabral, and Haddad—and Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) President Nick Fyntrilakis for hosting the SCIAA Legislative Breakfast last week. The panel engaged in open and insightful discussions with the group on various legislative initiatives affecting the insurance industry, including updating the state’s minimum limits, opposing rebates, and other modernization efforts. As a company dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement, we highly valued being a part of such discussions to drive client-centric change in the insurance industry.
