Let's test the power of LinkedIn. As many of my connections know, Ronstan was acquired by Groupe Wichard late in 2023. An exciting new chapter for both companies. One of the first phases of integration is that we are combining our three USA based companies into one; all in a new premises on Quonset in North Kingstown RI. Don’t worry there will be fanfare, press releases and photos (maybe even a grand opening party) coming later in the Autumn. One of the challenges is the timing of the move in relation to our existing lease at 1170 East Main Rd in Portsmouth. This has been a great location for us, but we will be out by October and yet our lease runs through the end of May 2025. It is about 9k square feet of warehouse space and 1500 sq ft of office space. We have a loading dock, but do not have a ground level warehouse entry door (if we did, I’d probably just rent it out as boat storage for the winter!) Ideally, we would find a new tenant to come in a sign a long-term lease and hopefully get us out of the remaining months of ours. If however, we don’t find an long term fit, there could be a nice warehouse space available for 6-8 months for a very short term sublet.
