Adam Sharkawy was in Singapore for the official launch of Xora Innovation's new headquarters. As co-investors with Xora in both Amperesand and Talus Renewables, it was inspiring to witness this next chapter take shape. Adam joined Managing Partner Phil Inagaki for a discussion on Amperesand's best-in-class technology and deep tech innovation happening in Singapore. The event featured remarks from Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister, Heng Swee Keat, who announced an exciting collaboration between Amperesand and PSA unboXed/PSA International. Together, they will pilot Amperesand's solid-state transformer (SST) platform at Singapore’s port. Through this collaboration, Amperesand will showcase the capability of their SST to serve as an intelligent grid interface for fleet charging applications. We're thrilled to be a part of Singapore's broader deep tech ecosystem and look forward to all of the innovations ahead!

Transforming an idea into a business requires committed and capable leadership. “I think of startup leadership as being the captain of a sailboat. They need to have the vision to navigate a seascape that they themselves are redefining with each wave. The captain needs to see beyond the horizon, many waves out to intuit the non-obvious in order to navigate the company to success, and then needs to have the passion to influence the rest of the crew around them towards that destination.” -- Adam Sharkawy recently shared in Forbes.
