One of our representatives, Don, had a great time showing the staff at The Rehabilitation Institute of Southern Illinois how life-changing the Tek RMD M1 can be for those with walking disabilities. They were very impressed with what our device can do and excited to see how it can improve the lives of their patients. If you work in a facility similar to the Rehabilitation Institute and would like us to come give demonstrations of the Tek RMD M1 for your clients, just reach out! We would love to find a rep in your area who can bring a device by.

Home of the Tek RMD M1, reimagining the way people with walking disabilities are able to move.
About us
Matia Mobility is reimagining mobility for people with walking disabilities. The all new Tek RMD M1 is a revolutionary mobility platform that makes it possible to independently and safely sit, stand and navigate environments that were once inaccessible, indoor and outdoor, and all at eye level. With the industry’s smallest footprint, users can now go places and reach items otherwise unavailable in a standard wheelchair, whether at home or at work. The M1 fits in small spaces, minimizing renovation requirements and often decreasing overall living costs for someone with a walking disability. Now approved for purchase by the VA, and also now available with multiple financing options from our website, the M1 is now more affordable than ever.

User Spotlight: Sharon Sharon has been living with a complete T5/T12 spinal cord injury for the past 11 and a half years following a car accident. Since then, she has required the use of a wheelchair. However, for the past 10 months, she has been using the Tek RMD M1, which has greatly improved her daily life and health. Sharon knew the Tek RMD M1 would help with issues like maintaining bone density, improving her hip flexors, and allowing her to reach items easily. While it has fulfilled those expectations, the Tek RMD M1 has also provided unexpected benefits, such as a noticeable overall improvement in her physical and mental health. Sharon firmly believes that standing is a crucial aspect of both physical and mental well-being for wheelchair users, and she encourages others to consider how life-changing this kind of device can be!
