    Head of Product at Maven

Lenny Rachitsky hosted an amazing group of product leaders at his inaugural summit. It was in classic Lenny style with a campfire theme - intimate, friendly, insightful. Some of my favorite takeaways: 1) Claire Vo on her vision for PMs - graduating from “generalist specialists” into “AI-powered triple threats” into “maybe a bit of everything”. 2) Shreyas Doshi on product taste - identify what’s good without needing to see results. Sometimes it’s worth pausing even before a “two-way door” decision. 3) Kevin Weil on PMing at OpenAI - new capabilities are emerging from a mist. PMs need to upskill on evaluating models and going deeper into tech stack. Especially fun to meet so many Maven instructors and students in attendance. Inspired by everyone's curiosity, optimism, and growth mindset.

Deeply researched product, growth, and career advice

Two weeks since I launched Lenny’s List with Maven and it’s so nice to see the impact. Hundreds of new signups across the courses 🔥 FWIW, the most popular courses so far have been Mihika Kapoor (Product Storytelling), Tal Raviv (PM Productivity), and Miqdad Jaffer (AI product management). But they're all seeing a lot of love. Heads up: those three specific courses (Mihika, Tal, Miqdad) are starting their next cohorts in the next 2 weeks, in case you want to check them out. Most online courses suck. The core thesis of Maven is: build courses that don’t suck. That’s why we’re cohort-based, why we recruit instructors who are truly experts in their field, and why most of our courses have live, asynchronous, and project-based components.

Online classes suck. Change my mind. I'm still blissfully enjoying my time off, but I’ve been in the mood to learn something new—on any topic. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a single course that was interesting enough for me to finish. Am I looking in the wrong places?

    Technical Customer Success @ Strella

I've been really enjoying Maven's Lightning Lessons⚡—such a great way to gain valuable insights in a short time! Today, I attended Irene Yu's course on Technical Literacy for PMs. The discussion around prioritizing breadth of knowledge over depth really resonated with me. Working with development teams is so fun and fulfilling, especially because of the specialized knowledge they bring to the table! Some other standout lessons I've attended: 🌟How product teams get more done in less time by 🐱 Catt Small 👩🏾💻 🌟 Impactful customer conversations by Carol Rossi 🌟 Combining PLG and Sales in B2B SaaS teams by Leah Tharin
