This week, MAXX teams from the mountains to the coast came together for MAXX Day, our annual day of service that we look forward to all year. We volunteered at food banks in Colorado, Utah, and New York. The sunbelt teams put in "sweat equity" assisting with maintenance. We wrapped up the week in Florida, where our Fort Lauderdale and Tampa teams stepped up to support organizations still recovering from the recent hurricanes so they can continue their vital work. We are deeply grateful to these incredible organizations: Children's Harbor, Food Bank of the Rockies, Joshua House, Met Council, Salt Lake City YWCA, Streetlight USA, St Jude's Ranch for Children, and the Utah Food Bank Spending just one day alongside these inspiring organizations gave us a glimpse into the tireless dedication they show every single day. Service which is rendered without joy helps neither the servant nor the served.” – Mahatma Gandhi As I was leaving the Salt Lake YWCA, I was surprised to see a statue of Gandhi. I stopped for a few minutes to reflect on Gandhi’s life and why the statue was there and the quote above came to mind. This quote perfectly encapsulates the spirit of our recent company-wide day of service. The Utah Maxx team truly embraced the opportunity to give back. It was great to see everyone come together with such enthusiasm and commitment. A genuine thank you to MAXX Properties for allowing us the day to focus on our community. Our team dedicated the morning to the YWCA, where we engaged in meaningful work supporting women and families in need, and spent the afternoon at the Utah Food Bank, helping to combat hunger in our state. Every year MAXX participates in MAXXDay across all 6 of the markets we operate in. It’s a day to give back to the communities that we serve. MAXXDay Denver chose to support the Food Bank of the Rockies. An organization who’s mission is to ignight the power of community to nourish people with food insecurities. The Denver team assisted with preparing food, boxing food and beverages, and working in the warehouse to stack the pallets to be delivered all throughout Colorado and Wyoming. As a team, we put together 677 boxes, 21,520 pounds of food that equals to 17,841 meals for those in need. I am so proud to work for an organization that not only supports its employees, but the community as well! 💜

We are happy to announce our latest acquisition of a 145-unit multifamily property renamed ANKR Wilton Manors in the vibrant city just north of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
