We’re part way through the Australasian Wound & Tissue Repair Society & Matrix Biology Society of Australia and New Zealand (MBSANZ) 2024 Joint Scientific Meeting, and while we’ve seen some fantastic science, we’ve also had some amazing social events! Check out some of the highlights (and lots of Quokka selfies! 🐾). 🤝 ECR Networking Event: Our Early Career Researcher (ECR) networking event was a huge success! Attendees had the chance to connect with peers, meet new people, and catch up with friends. It was inspiring to see so many bright minds come together. 🏝️ Trip to Rottnest Island: Delegates spent Tuesday afternoon on an unforgettable trip to Rottnest Island! Participants enjoyed exploring, relaxing, and having fun on the island. It was the perfect way to unwind and bond with fellow attendees outside the conference setting. Thank you to everyone who made these events so memorable! #AWTRS2024 #MBSANZ2024 #EventRecap #Networking #ECR #RottnestIsland #ScientificCommunity
