"Creativity helps us realize that we don't have to understand everything. We can enjoy something -feel it and use it- without ever fully comprehending it." Trailblazing artist, Faith Ringgold, was born on this day. Celebrate her memory with us by looking back on the her first comprehensive retrospective, "Faith Ringgold: American People," which opened at the MCA on November 18, 2023. Her works detailing the complexity of race and gender in the United States and radical social change from the civil rights movement are still relevant to this day. #FaithRiggold
