Designing Excellence for Doak Field at Dail Park at NC State University! 🐺⚾ For over 57 years, Doak Field has been the home of NC State Baseball, filled with incredible moments and rich history. We are proud to collaborate with NC State on this enhancement, to provide the team and fans with the best facilities and experiences possible. This re-design has included a new NCAA playing field, a player performance facility, a natural grass / dirt field surrounded by synthetic turf and even renovated dugouts with new outfield bullpens. We are turning these improvements into reality by addressing complex utility relocations and stormwater management solutions, while also providing landscape architecture, due diligence, civil engineering and construction administration services for this project. Check out the drone footage of the Carter-Ann Street Project in Asheville in action! 🚧 Our Water Resources team have been working to improve the existing storm drainage and runoff systems on Carter-Ann Street. With heavy rainfall in these areas, it became essential for the street to improve these conditions to prevent further damage. By collaborating with the City of Asheville, these system improvements will enhance the catch basins of runoff water along with any unforeseeable heavy rain fall to come. The upgrades include relocating utilities and using a bore-and-jack method to avoid disrupting existing infrastructure, all while maintaining safety and functionality for the community and street. Their commitment to understanding the hydraulic, hydrologic, and environmental complexities of linear drainage projects allows them to deliver innovative, low-impact solutions that address client needs while prioritizing environmental stewardship. Eric, our Transportation Hydraulic Design Lead, has extensive experience in NCDOT drainage design, hydraulic structure analysis and stream modeling.
