We had a great Life Sciences discussion last week at the 2025 Revista Real Estate Investment Forum. I was happy to be on Life Science State of the Industry panel with Stephanie McAleer, Liz Sillay, JD, MBA, and Nora Clark Neilson, CPM LEED-GA. We discussed the current life science landscape and our expectations in 2025 and beyond. We talked about what's driving life science discovery, the evolution of the life science markets and the funding environment. When MCB Real Estate learned about Jahmal Lake and Our Kids Can Read’s mission to improve literacy by providing free books and mentor-led reading sessions, we knew we had to get involved. After they received millions of dollars’ worth of donated books, we saw an opportunity to help. Recognizing that storage and a storefront could amplify their impact, we opened the doors to an unused space in our portfolio to support their mission and serve the community.
