    Since June, McCormick teams across the world have been giving back to the communities where we live, work, and operate as part of our 135 Days of Giving campaign. The campaign celebrates our 135th anniversary and honors the legacy of our founder, Willoughby McCormick, who believed in the power of giving to support those in need. We have already shared how our Asia Pacific and Americas regions gave back to their communities. Today we are spotlighting some examples of how teams throughout our EMEA region brought the power of giving to the next level. • Baked cookies, prepared gift bags, and served afternoon tea to disadvantaged children and their families in France • Raised money at an employee charity auction in Poland • Supported a charity run in Poland and made a financial donation to a local hospice • Celebrated Mandela Day in South Africa by supporting pupils at a local community school • Participated in a dragon boat racing event in the UK to raise funds for a local hospice • Volunteered at a nature reserve, a wildlife hospital and a charity supporting individuals with disabilities in the UK • Organized two cooking events with local children and young people in Italy. McCormick Italy also raised donations for Il Delphino Onlus, a local organization that supports individuals with disabilities • Partnered with Operação Nariz Vermelho in Portugal, an organization that works with hospitalized children, their families, and healthcare professionals to bring joy and healing through art • Held a second-hand clothes sale in Turkey to support the education of children and young people living close to the McCormick Izmir Plant We thank each of our sites around the globe for giving back throughout our campaign.     McCormick has a strong legacy of giving back to the communities where we live, work, and operate. To celebrate our 135th anniversary, our teams across the world have been volunteering their time and donating resources to support those in need during our 135 Days of Giving campaign. Today we are proud to share how employees working in the Americas region embraced the power of giving to help those in their communities. Here are a few examples: • Packed food boxes for the Maryland Food Bank and the United Way of Central Maryland • Hosted an event to raise money for a humane society in Canada • Held a school supply drive to support children in Indiana and volunteered at the Food Bank of Northern Indiana • Participated in a reforestation event in the Jiquipilco Municipality in Mexico, sponsored by the EDUCA Foundation of Mexico • Hosted a spice sale to raise money for a conservation foundation in Illinois Thanks to all of our employees who participated in our 135 Days of Giving to make a difference and support those in need. #PowerOfGiving #Charity #Anniversary

    Our founder Willoughby McCormick believed in the power of giving to support people in need. To honor his legacy and celebrate our company’s 135th anniversary, McCormick launched a 135 Days of Giving campaign in June - a global initiative encouraging all employees to engage in charitable giving and volunteer activities. Over the next few days, we will be sharing a few of the things our teams have done throughout the campaign. Today we are proud to showcase some of the impactful work performed by our teams in the Asia Pacific region that made a real difference in their communities. • Packed food bags for the Green Food Bank in China • Organized an event with the OzHarvest food waste reduction charity in Australia to benefit residents of Ronald McDonald House Charities (Fitzroy North) • Volunteered with the Willing Hearts soup kitchen in Singapore to pack, clean, cook, and deliver food packages to people in need • Partnered with Rise Against Hunger in India to prepare 10,800 meals for the underprivileged and volunteered with The Earth Saviours Foundation to prepare and distribute 200 hygiene kits as well as sponsored and distributed 500 meals to disadvantaged community groups • Organized the Return Back to Communities: Ban Rai School Project in Thailand, donated stationery, constructed school furniture from recycled materials and provided organic soil fertilizer for the spice garden in their rural school As we wrap up our campaign, we want to thank our employees around the globe for taking the power of giving to the next level by giving back to the communities where we live, work, and operate. #PowerOfGiving #Charity #Anniversary

    Yesterday, we hosted our 2024 Investor Day at McCormick’s Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. At this milestone event, we shared our passion for flavor with the investment community as well as our proven strategies through which we are advancing our leadership and differentiation. McCormick is flavor. It is our history, and it is our future. We have robust plans that leverage the demand for flavor and the strength of our brands.     At McCormick & Company, we recognize the evolving taste preferences of today’s consumer, particularly among Gen Z. In this recent article from CNBC, McCormick Executive Chef Hadar Cohen Aviram highlights the “swicy” trend—a combination of sweet and spicy flavors—that is increasingly featured on restaurant menus. McCormick first predicted this reemerging trend in our 2022 Flavor Forecast report when sweetness paired with heat acts as a flavor enhancer in addition to the spiciness.     India has a rich history of cultivating some of the world’s most beloved spices that can be traced back nearly 3,000 years. To help the farming communities continue this spice tradition for years to come, McCormick is partnering with other organizations to support sustainable spice production in six Indian states as part of our Grown for Good sustainability initiatives.     Meet Miranda Morales, Supply Chain Rotational Analyst, who at 23 is embracing the opportunities that come her way. Miranda is gaining hands-on experience in McCormick’s three-year Rotational Program, which exposes people early in their careers to different functional areas in McCormick’s supply chain operations. She joined the program after earning her degree in chemical engineering, a field that has historically been dominated by men. “It’s not easy being a woman in engineering. It requires you to have confidence in your voice and abilities. I was successful because I’ve always excelled at math and chemistry, but also because I’m a strong woman, just like my mother.” Miranda lost her mother to cancer when she was 14. Miranda is also bilingual, which helps her make connections with many people working in McCormick’s manufacturing facilities who speak Spanish.     World Mental Health Day gives us the opportunity to reflect on the importance of caring for our mental wellness inside and outside of work. At McCormick, we recognize the connection between workplace experiences and employee mental wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Programs offer practical assistance in navigating life’s changes along with resources and tools to help employees improve and enhance their physical and emotional wellbeing. This year our teams across the world are celebrating World Mental Health Day in a variety of ways including global Mindfulness Moments breaks designed to reduce stress and alleviate anxiety, exercise challenges that highlight the connection between physical activity and mental wellness, and information sessions on mental health topics presented by our Employee Assistance Programs.
