Partners Justin Piccione and Dennis Wiley, with support from paralegal Jessica Ridout, successfully defended our homeowner client in a quiet title action.    In addition to the complete case dismissal, the Court also granted our client’s application to cancel the Notice of Pendency that had been in place.    This decisive win is just one example of our continued commitment to protecting the rights of our clients. This year, McLaughlin & Stern, LLP organized another successful Summer Associate Program! Summer Associates worked side-by-side with Partners & Associates on impactful matters across the firm's diverse practice areas. They were immersed in drafting documents like briefs, motions, contracts, and agreements, while also preparing corporate filings, conducting due diligence, assisting in real estate closings, and supporting the preparation of estate planning documents. They also attended hearings, depositions, client meetings, and negotiations – gaining comprehensive experience across different legal specialties. To conclude the program this year, Summer Associates participated in a moot court, each arguing for a grant of summary judgment in a defamation case. The group was extremely talented, and we know they’ll go on to lead successful legal careers! #RaisingTheBar Thank you to the Honorable David Kirschner for presiding over the moot court and to Lauren Cramer, Mark S. #NEWS: McLaughlin & Stern, LLP Partner Brett Gallaway secured a successful outcome for his client in a recent internal investigation by the NFL. The client, a professional football player, was wrongfully accused of domestic violence and released by his former team. After a thorough investigation and strategic defense, the client was exonerated and re-signed with the Carolina Panthers.   Brett and his team are dedicated to pursuing justice on behalf of the client – and this is just one strong step in the right direction.
