  • McPherson Clinical & Consulting Services is proud to welcome Jordan Williams, MS, NCC to our team! Jordan holds a BS in Psychology from Texas Christian University and an MS in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from Villanova University. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a pre-licensed clinician under supervision. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in an anti-oppressive, systems-based lens, with a focus on decolonizing and destigmatizing mental health within BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. As a Black queer cis-woman, Jordan is constantly reflecting on the dynamics of power, privilege, and control in therapeutic settings. She utilizes a holistic, trauma-informed framework that integrates attachment, psychodynamic therapy, and Liberation-focused therapy to empower clients and build resilience, particularly in addressing the relational fractures due to internal and external systems. Jordan embraces open dialogue around topics often deemed “taboo” in society, such as race, gender, sexuality, religion, spirituality, suicidality, and complex trauma. She places a strong emphasis on authenticity, collaboration, and autonomy in the therapeutic relationship, ensuring a safe space for all her clients to explore their identities and experiences. In her commitment to anti-oppressive work, Jordan creates an inclusive and affirming space for Queer individuals who wish to explore their identities through a faith-based lens. As a Christian herself, she understands the profound impact that religious trauma, particularly from frameworks rooted in power and control, can have on a person’s existential beliefs and sense of self. Jordan provides a compassionate, non-judgmental environment, honoring each person’s unique spiritual journey while supporting them in navigating the complexities of faith, sexuality, and self-acceptance. Additionally, as a former 2x Division I track athlete, Jordan also welcomes current and former athletes grappling with identity challenges related to athletics. To schedule an appointment with Jordan, call us at (215)586-3782 or email us at virtualassistant@mcphersonccs.com
