JFC staff gears up for the Fall! Staff attended weeklong mini-session workshops facilitated by Ms. Khadijah King on identifying and addressing behaviors of students with autism diagnosis.

During ESY, Ms. Jordan's class at MHS learned all about the Paralympics, Australia, and Australian Paralympians. The students helped put together a timeline of the history of the Paralympics, biographies of Australian Paralympians, and facts about Australia. Using our AAC devices, we focused on the core word "go" while adding other core words such as "on," "off," "in," and "out" into the mix. It was a fun summer!

Students in Mrs. Leah's class planted sunflowers in April during science class. They have been carefully tending to their plants all Spring and Summer. Check out their green thumbs!

What a great afternoon at MHS! Mad Science of West NJ visited to show some fantastic science experiments! Students were able to participate and experience the science for themselves. So much fun!

Room 124 at MHS have lit the Olympic torch today!

Mrs. Leah's class organized a school-wide car wash. Mercer Elementary School students had a great time learning to wash cars!

MES celebrated their own Olympic Opening Ceremonies! Students and staff carried flags from around the world and Olympic torches to begin the MES 2024 Summer Olympiad!

Students at MES came together as a school community to blow bubbles together and start off ESY right!
