MDG held our company picnic this Saturday at Bethpage State Park and what a beautiful day it was to spend time with our employees and their families. Some played Basketball, some played Volleyball and everyone played Bingo. The kids enjoyed the bubbles, the hula hoops and the mini golf and everyone loved the ice cream! A great time was had by all.

We are excited to announce that our employee Frank Dolcemascolo has been promoted to Project Executive. Frank started working with Venia as a Carpenter back in 2011 and then in July 2013, Charis hired him on as full time Site Superintendent and worked on various affordable housing projects that MDG was awarded. He continued learning MDG’s processes and procedures and the role of Site Superintendent until 2017 when he was promoted to Project Manager for Ocean Bay Project. Frank worked on the Ocean Bay project until completion in 2019 as well as on Betances Project. With Frank’s incredible performance and contribution to the success of those projects, in September of 2020, Frank was promoted to Sr Project Manager and has contributed tremendously to the success and upcoming completion of the $380 million project (1630 Units) at Williamsburg. In July 2023, Frank also celebrated his 10-year milestone anniversary with MDG. Frank’s professional career from Venia to Charis/MDG is one of our best success stories, and this promotion is well deserved as he continues to bring his extensive knowledge and experience in Construction and the rehabilitation of various Affordable Housing projects. In addition, he will be the Project Executive for the new NYCHA Bayview Project and is now a member of the MDG Executive Team. Congratulations Frank!
