In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Asheville's Mission Hospital faced significant challenges with compromised domestic water. The estimated timeline for repairs was daunting, with emergency water supplies expected to take weeks.   When called upon for urgent repairs, members of our Asheville, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greenville teams mobilized swiftly. Within 24 hours, they secured the necessary materials and labor to complete all repairs for hospital operations. Thanks to our team working closely with Mission Health staff, the hospital can now function properly. This collective effort highlights the strength of teamwork and dedication in the face of extreme adversity.   A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved, especially those who traveled far to lend their support. Did you know that construction workers are nearly four times more likely to die by suicide than the general population, according to the CDC? This staggering statistic highlights the urgent need for open conversations about mental health in our field. Our speaker shared valuable insights on recognizing the signs of mental distress and the importance of fostering a supportive workplace culture. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and ensure that every worker knows they are not alone.
