3D plus game engine work for a GREAT cause: the danger and consequences of synthetic clothing. What a great project! https://lnkd.in/gYd-z_SV

14+ Million views in the first week! 3 x Ad of the Day 5 x Ad of the Week 1 x NOWNESS Pick Featuring on publications like The Drum, Creative Review, LBB (Little Black Book), ADWEEK, Forbes, designboom... Our latest work has been generating quite some buzz, and we couldn't be more proud! 'Wear wool, not waste', the new striking Woolmark commercial with hordes of 'undead' synthetic clothing rampaging through a city! One of the biggest challenges was transitioning the crowd from motion capture to ragdoll animation—where an agent falls and its body reacts naturally to the ground—followed by full-body cloth simulation. Our artists spent two months refining this system to ensure it was robust and realistic. When it finally worked, the team was ecstatic. The final commercial is not only visually striking but also carries a powerful message—a perfect example of how VFX can support the narrative and elevate the final product into something truly eye-catching and unique. I thank my team for bringing their extraordinary talents, energy and friendship to this project. This was truly done by the books, on all fronts. Now it is time to take a look behind the magic, watch the video below! Shape-changing furniture design @ MIT I would go to an expensive cafe that had this... https://lnkd.in/gZFUkH5b

Artist | Global speaker | Post-AI & Quantum innovator | Sharing the Most inspiring tech art | Protagonist in $3.2M art mystery | Breaking boundaries with art, talks, exhibits worldwide since 2010

'Transform', shape changing furniture by MIT media lab. Quite a depiction also of where our social feeds and digital content are heading:   AI is quickly becoming the main tool for the creation of texts, images and designs. In which users tell the systems what to create. But that's an intermediary phase. The more fundamental shift is one in which AIs will create without our detailed instructions. And change content on the spot.   That future is here. Last week Meta introduced their 'Imagined for you' project at the Meta Connect Event. Idea is that images on your Facebook or Instagram feed are generated by AI instantly. For you, based on your data. This is a shift that will occur in all sort fields where content creation and design come into play.   It's not necessarily a bad thing. Creation will change, away from craftmanship to working more on a conceptual level, setting the boundaries for the systems. As long as the creating systems connect to deep human stories, concepts, or emotions, they can lead to interesting output. Maybe even art.   Where it becomes problematic, is when the systems do their thing based on the statistics that drive our social media. Being triggered by flat impulses, click bait and polarization. Leading to content increasingly finetuned to get you in matching states a mind. A development therefore to be critical about and push back against.   The shape changing table 'Transform' was created in 2014. More prophetic about an upcoming future than its makers probably ever imagined (for you).

Representing diversity is VERY important. Our young students tend to have very narrow ideas about representation and naturally they go from themselves and their subculture to maybe a couple of steps outside. We need to encourage images and characters that expand the vision of ourselves. This is not easy because there is also a lot of repression when representing cultures and identities that are not ours. We need to work more on observing, on collaborating with people that are different from us and to encourage true artistry in this field. https://lnkd.in/gC2R92zJ

The Future is Inclusive. Make it BIEN.

Isn't on-screen representation in motion design easy? You just use different skin tones and now you're inclusive. No... it's not that simple. See how we do it in this BTS video. Watch this behind-the-scenes breakdown to see: - 6 versions of Rayne - 12 versions of Aaliyah - Ethnographic research - Anthropologic research - Deep attention and respect for cultural and societal cues.

This is a golden rule: a working space has to be joyful. Unless you put a lot of effort and talent, cubicles (and most computer rooms) are NOT joyful. We are trying to change this at Media Arts. https://lnkd.in/diDR5v24

Look at how much emotion you can trigger with the Motion Graphics language. Perfect activation of the whole Stage and great transformations: it keeps us glued to the screen. This artist uses the best of the 2 worlds: analog and digital. https://lnkd.in/gGUh-jGZ

Rendering is that delicate step where things either emanate some magic or they stay behind as raw silicon. It takes artistic sensibility with color and chiaroscuro, a sense of visual storytelling to thread the elements naturally, and a lot of inspiration: this one has it all. https://lnkd.in/gU4AdieJ

At a moment when I almost gave up on 3D graphics entirely, I created this render. It was a pivotal time that taught me a valuable lesson: the only time you truly fail is when you quit. This 3D interior render of a kitchen is more than just a project; it's a story of resilience and passion. Tips on how I achieved this result in the comment section #blender #blendercycles #3d #storytelling
