Pseudoarthrosis following ACDF surgery can often times be difficult to clearly diagnose. Dynamic (flex/ex) radiographs and CT scan are the two imaging modalities universally used. There are ways to clearly identify a pseudoarthrosis using biomechanical properties of bone in conjunction with AI software utilizing standard DICOM dynamic radiographs. This process takes a minute to load from your existing images taken in the clinic setting. This method is very accurate and may even forego the need to obtain a formal CT scan.
