Help us welcome a new face! Memorial Internal Medicine is joined by a new practice manager – Martha “Marti” Dellinger. Marti has 20+ years of healthcare management experience and lives locally between Plain City and Mechanicsburg. Married with two sons, Marti's background includes raising livestock as well as serving as a Union County 4-H Advisor for over 10 years! We are so excited to have Marti on the team! 🥳

We are a people-first organization here at Memorial. Our focus is always on our patients and their families. And supporting our teams who care for those in our world is of key importance, too. One of the ways we can do that is with Memorial KidzLink, our licensed child care facility that offers educational programs and activities for young children of Memorial employees. Well, we had the best week at KidzLink! Yesterday, we held a fun-filled ribbon cutting ceremony for our brand new playground! A gorgeous day to unveil new play with these smiling faces and their parents! Cutting the ribbon and celebrating with our families is Dee Weber, our CHRO (left), along with Carrie Karshner, KidzLink Director (top) - thanks to everyone who attended! Today, our Memorial Health leadership team, in conjunction with our Board of Trustees and the Union County Commissioners, announced Foundations Health Solutions has been selected as the new owner of Memorial Gables. Foundations Health Solutions is a leader in senior living solutions across Ohio, known for their wealth of expertise and steadfast commitment to excellence in senior care. This transition marks a significant milestone for Memorial Gables, promising enhanced services and an elevated standard of care for our residents. Please join us in welcoming John Cook, EMT-P, as Memorial's new EMS Liaison. 👏 This role is a top priority for us as we work with our regional emergency medical partners to ensure together, we provide quality, compassionate care in the communities we serve. John brings 33 years of Fire and EMS experience to the role, 30 of which have been served in Union County. Most recently, he served as District Chief at Northwestern Fire District, and he retired as Lieutenant at Allen Township and Fire Chief at Leesburg Township. He is an EMS Continuing Education instructor, as well as an instructor for ACLS, BLS, and PALS, all of which will be utilized for outreach efforts. John is excited to take the baton and continue to develop fruitful collaboration. John resides in Marysville with his wife, Jennifer, and two daughters, Madison and Emma. With John’s knowledge, experience, and long-time dedication to our community, we are eager to have his influence on the Memorial team. Welcome, John! 🙌
