This October, let’s come together to raise awareness for breast cancer and support those affected by it. Wearing pink serves as a powerful reminder of the critical importance of early detection and regular screenings. We encourage everyone to schedule your annual mammogram and help spread the message. Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer. Find a MercyOne location near you: https://bit.ly/2T5zaf3. #BreastCancerAwareness #MercyOne #EarlyDetection

Representative Miller-Meeks visited MercyOne Genesis today, where we discussed several critical issues affecting health care. Topics included IVF, the challenges of workplace violence and the importance of protecting health care workers and the effects of nurse staffing ratio mandates on patient care. We also covered ongoing medication shortages and the obstacles presented by preauthorization and insurance denials, which can delay essential treatments. We appreciate Representative Miller-Meeks’ attention to these matters and look forward to ongoing support and collaboration.

Breanna Young, Behavioral Health Clinic Administrator, and Anne Wright, Central Iowa Medical Group Director, represented MercyOne at the Business-Higher Education Forum held at Drake University. This national forum brought together fellows to discuss current business needs, employment gaps and ways faculty and universities can support college students in translating their education into practical, real-world applications. We're proud to have Breanna and Anne leading the way in shaping the future workforce! MercyOne.org
