The Business Development team was honored to present Mental Health Education to students at Organ Mountain High School, and Mesa Middle School last week as part of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. We presented to over 600 students with a positive and interactive spin on mental health. This was created by our Director of Business Development, Judy Baca, in 2018 and has been presented to over 6,000 students. It covers topics like suicide ideation, depression, anxiety, substance use, coping skills and self-care. We offer inpatient treatment for ages seven and up, in a safe and compassionate environment. As part of our therapeutic treatment, your teen will learn coping skills, and we always welcome a family involvement approach. A huge thank you to all of our staff that donated items to Ruidoso, NM. Ruidoso has experienced the delegation in their community from fires to flash floods, which has lead to many people loosing their homes. We came together as a hospital and donated items to a distribution center where residents of Ruidoso can go to get items they need from clothing, to personal hygiene, water, snacks, and so much more!
