Sei TVL is skyrocketing! Since the launch of Sei V2, total value locked (TVL) has increased 229% to $95.3 million. What catalyzes TVL growth? • New product launches • Points programs • Capital infusion due to airdrop(s) Sei is a Layer-1 network that has seen TVL explode due to a combination of the above. The growth started with a new product launch. On May 27, 2024, the Sei V2 upgrade went live, introducing three major upgrades to the network, namely EVM compatibility. Since that day, Sei’s TVL has increased 229% to $95.3 million. Sei beat Monad to market. It's the first parallelized and EVM-compatible network to go live. Sei V2 resulted in a host of new DeFi protocols launching, the top two being: • Yei Finance, Sei’s first borrowing and lending protocol, is a fork of Aave V3 and features SEI, USDT, and USDC for borrowing and lending.  • Dragon Swap, Sei’s first EVM-compatible DEX that became its top exchange, unseating Astroport. New protocols led initial growth. Then, at the end of June, the top two introduced points programs, spurring further TVL growth. • Yei Finance launched a points program on June 17.  • Dragon Swap launched a points program on June 25. Most recently, Sei distributed Airdrop 2 on July 9, 2024, airdropping SEI tokens and infusing users with new capital as TVL continues its uptrend. All-in-all, Sei found a potent combination. • First, releasing a new product with Sei V2 and a parallelized EVM.  • Second, seeing new protocols launch point programs.  • Third, conducting a SEI token airdrop that provided a capital infusion to users.
