Coaches, here are the 3 areas you need to master to powerfully serve clients: 1. Vision: Help them create a picture of the future that produces passion. 2. Mindset: Help them discover how they are relating to their vision. 3. Strategy: Help them explore the actions they can take to achieve the vision.

6 steps to help a client create a thrilling vision using our “Break Your Brain” tool: Here’s what you’re going to say to your client... Step 1: Write down 1 area of your life in which you want to grow. Step 2: Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 in this area. Step 3: Spend 4 minutes imagining what a 10 would look like in that area. Imagine the results you'd achieve, and how you would feel. This is where the magic happens. Step 4: Reframe your 10 as a 2. Ask yourself, “If my current 10 was actually a 2, what would the new 10 look like?” Step 5: Spend 4 minutes imaging the new 10. What would life look like? How would you feel? Who would you become? Step 6: Finally, commit yourself to taking 1 small action toward this new, expanded vision in the next 7 days. Rinse and repeat. Make Break Your Brain a regular practice and watch your clients transform.

Coaches, your current reality is your FLOOR. Act like it! Most people set goals based on what they think they can achieve right now. They allow their current ability, skillset, and resources to determine what’s possible. Here's your wake-up call: Your current abilities are just your baseline. Your potential? That's your real playing field. Don’t set goals you know you can achieve. What’s the point of that? Create a vision that challenges you. One that extracts your potential. Want a free guide to create an exciting vision for your coaching practice? Sign up for the Meta Performance Coach Blueprint and check out Lesson 1!

As Meta Performance coaches, our goal is to partner with a client to find out what they're truly capable of. But there's a common practice that may be undermining this very mission: negotiating lower rates. Not ALWAYS, but here's why discounting your services might be a disservice to your clients: 1. It sends the wrong message. By lowering your rates, you're implicitly saying, "I don't believe you're capable of affording my full value." 2. It sets a low bar for investment. Great achievements require significant investment - of time, energy, and yes, money. By reducing your rates, you're setting a precedent that transformation comes cheap. 3. It devalues your expertise. Your rates should reflect the value you will create with your time—for the clients you choose to invest that precious time with. Discounting diminishes this perceived value. 4. It can lead to reduced commitment. When clients invest at full price, they're more likely to be fully committed to the process. A discounted rate can lead to a discounted effort. 5. It contradicts the mindsets we coach. We encourage our clients to think big. Shouldn't we model this? Remember: Your clients came to you because they want to achieve great things. By maintaining your rates, you're affirming their potential and setting the stage for transformative growth. What are your thoughts on this? Have you ever experienced the paradox of discounting in your coaching practice? Let's discuss in the comments!
