The ranking is based on hospitals with a five-star cleanliness rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) patient survey (the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems). Director of Support Services Renee Trussell says that it's hard work keeping the hospital immaculate 24/7, and this recognition is a testament to the efforts of our environmental services team.

Methodist Richardson is helping raise student awareness of healthcare careers in Plano ISD. Carley Legan, DO, a primary care physician, offered insights about what it's like to care for patients. She also shared her own professional journey. Methodist Richardson is proud to support the school district's Health Sciences Academy, which trains future healthcare professionals.

Members of the Southlake Foundation Student Leadership Program gathered at Methodist Southlake to enjoy food and fellowship. Participants got to take home professional headshots. The program is designed to offer opportunities for students who want to build a socially conscious society through civic engagement. It also offers young leaders the chance to explore fields of interest. We can picture a bright future.

For your cuteness overload, here's a peek at Methodist Richardson's NICU reunion, where our tiniest patients come back with their families to see the caregivers who helped them survive the first fragile moments of life. Methodist Dallas held a women's event focusing on the benefits of adding weight training to their fitness routines. OB-GYNs Jared Eaves, MD, and Kathy Shum, DO, answered questions from participants and shared information about exercise, hormonal health, and pregnancy. The event ended with a relaxing yoga session and sound bath, and guests left with a resistance band, jump rope, and other swag. They were pumped!

Methodist Charlton turned its auditorium into Fair Park, complete with a replica of Big Tex, for its State of Shared Governance Fair. Those attending learned about the hospital's shared governance councils, designed to empower nurses to make policy decisions and improve quality care. Magnet® Program Director Mary Harris says, "Shared governance provides a way for staff to have a voice in their practice, learn leadership skills, and make contributions to the hospital that align with our mission."
