On this day, we honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous peoples - the first inhabitants of what is now known as the Americas. It's important that we acknowledge the influence that Indigenous peoples in America and Latin America have contributed to enriching our society. In times when the narrative around migration and ancestry is often polarized, let us use this day to acknowledge the legacy and rights of Indigenous peoples.
