Built-in 2020, the First Health Parking Garage provides parking for patients, visitors, and staff at the hospital in Pinehurst, NC. The garage has two elevated levels of precast concrete and gives the hospital approximately 300 new parking spaces with floor-to-floor access. Metromont’s Greenville and Spartanburg manufacturing facilities produced 68,521 SF of precast concrete for this project. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM); breast cancer is a severe disease affecting millions of individuals and their loved ones yearly. Studies have shown that roughly one in eight women and thousands of men will develop breast cancer at a certain point in their lives. On average, every 2 minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.
