Airbus to build a new Training and Flight Operations Campus in Toulouse. In response to the forecasted demand for an additional 2.3 million trained workers in the airline services sector by 2043, Airbus is creating additional training capacity with the construction of a new campus, which should be available during 2026. The campus can enrol around 10,000 trainees every year and will offer more space for up to 12 Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and 12 Airbus Procedure Trainers. The new facility will be the largest of 15 Airbus pilot training centres globally and the only one of its kind in Europe. Airbus operates 43 Full Flight Simulators (FFS) worldwide. Currently, six FFS of all Airbus Family aircraft are available to customers for training in Toulouse. An existing A330 FFS will be replaced by a new A330neo FFS, while one additional A350 FFS will be added when the new facility opens, increasing the number of FFS then to seven. #hofmannaviation #luftfahrtexperte #Airbus #pilot #FFS Julie Kitcher Guillaume Faury Stefan Schaffrath Katharina Wambach Austrian Cockpit Association International Air Transport Association (IATA) IATA Training

Today we celebrate an important milestone: 50 years of a successful partnership between Airbus and Korean Air! 🎉 It all began in 1974, when Korean Air became the first airline outside Europe to place an order for 6 A300B4. Since then, the airline has ordered and operated almost every Airbus aircraft type, soon to be adding the latest generation #A350 to its fleet, with its most recent order for 33 of the type! ✈️ The airline has consistently ranked among the world’s top operators of Airbus aircraft, winning over 20 Operational Excellence Awards. We are honoured to have been a part of its incredible journey. We thank Korean Air for its ongoing trust and we look forward to continue supporting the airline for many more years to come. ✈️

Recently we were honored to host distinguished guests from the Ministry of Defence of Singapore to discuss the future of AI in aviation. Despite challenges in automation, certification, and scaling, there is little doubt that connected aircraft, uncrewed traffic management, and autonomy -- all powered by AI -- will have tremendous impact in aerospace, for both commercial and defense applications. This is what we are working toward at Acubed, driven by the Silicon Valley tech spirit to deploy AI into next-generation aviation. #FutureofFlight #AIforAerospace
