Network technologies, travel choices behavior, economics, policies all integrated in a mobility ecosystem.
Most TDM programs don’t specifically target drivers, making it challenging to quantify whether incentives reach drivers or those who are already non-drivers. Krute Singa and I will share the pilot commissioned by Metropolitan Transportation Commission, in collaboration with The Behaviouralist, Diana M. Dorinson, and Melrose Meiyu Pan to identify "nudgeable drivers" and what strategies led them to become casual riders/bikers/walkers. The goal is to create a more cost-effective and impactful TDM program. #behavioralscience #randomcontroltrials #nudgeabledrivers #incentive #traveldemandmanagement #TDM
A nudge in the right direction can help you make better decisions about health, wealth, and happiness! Segmentation and targeted behavioral interventions can significantly reduce #TravelDemand across diverse demographics and geographical regions.
