MDC currently has openings at our 32-bed units designed to help individuals through the withdrawal management process (detox). Admissions and Referrals: Our facility is located at 721 Fawcett Ave. We are open 24/7 for admissions, ensuring that help is always available. We work on transition clients to local inpatient SUD treatment centers post-detox, supporting sustained recovery with Medication Assisted Treatments (MAT) and Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP). Important Admission Criteria: Individuals detoxing from benzodiazepines are currently not eligible for our services. We cannot accept pregnant individuals or those who test positive for THC only. We cater to individuals with an alcohol level of up to .27 BAL; higher levels require an ER visit for medical clearance. Make a Referral Today: For referrals or more information, please contact us at 253-593-2413. Our admission line is available 24/7 to assist you.

Participatory Budgeting in District 2 Participatory Budgeting is a democratic process in which a community decides how to spend a portion of their government's budget. The City of Tacoma has set aside $1,000,000 for your district. Over 2,000 ideas were submitted by you and your neighbors in Tacoma's Council District 2 (Downtown, Dome District, Stadium District, Northeast Tacoma, and North Tacoma). The three most popular ideas were turned into proposals for this ballot. Please scroll down the page and VOTE NOW to select one proposal to be funded $1,000,000.
