The new pilot case of Finnvera's Bill of Exchange financing was successfully completed with our valued customer, Constructora Monte Sion S.A., a construction company based in San José, Costa Rica. The customer requested longer payment terms after receiving a competing offer that included credit. With the help of this new solution, Monte Sion was able to purchase a Lokotrack® LT106™ mobile jaw crusher from Metso. Finnvera granted a five-year financing with semi-annual instalments. This new solution offers several benefits for the customer: ▪️Long repayment period ▪️Fixed interest rate ▪️Simple financing documents ▪️Financing without securities ▪️Customer saves time, when exporter negotiates the financing Financing is always a team effort, and this success was achieved with the help of a committed team. Our team included Finnvera's team, Metso Treasury, Metso logistics, and a distributor manager who coordinated things forward to the end customer with the help of our distributor. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved for their dedication and hard work in making this project a reality!

"Our commitment to inclusion and diversity continues to be strong!" This was our CEO Sami Takaluoma's powerful message yesterday in the global virtual event "Accelerate action together", organized by the Metso Women's Leadership Forum (WLF). The event brought together hundreds of women and men all around the world to connect, learn and grow together. Senior leadership commitment was clear as several Executive Leadership Team members were active in the event, including WLF Executive Sponsors Eeva Sipilä, Carita Himberg and new sponsor Piia Karhu, who will take on Eeva's role in the future. Piia shared an inspiring personal growth story and some key career learnings to the participants. President, North and Central America, Giuseppe Campanelli revealed fresh news about Metso Canada being recognized as a Great Place to Work for women, in addition to already being certified as a Great Place to Work in general. We heard from guest speaker Vera Backström from Accenture, who shared some personal career experiences as well as examples from Accenture's systematic work in fostering diversity and an inclusive culture. Also Annami Toukoniitty told a personal growth story of how she started as a Sales Coordinator at Metso and grew to her current role as Senior Vice President, Professional Services. Anything is possible when you have the courage and willingness to learn! Big thank you to host Joyce Iacono for a great job and Hannele Lahtinen and Anna Rassi for practical arrangements. These events are important and much appreciated in driving positive change! #RiseAboveThePossible #WeAreMetso
