Feel-good story of the day! Our Founder and CEO, Patrick Meyers, had his vacation plans briefly interrupted to aid in the rescue of a juvenile Cormorant on Saturday evening. Local biologists believe the young bird became disoriented by winds from post-tropical cyclone Debby, which swept through Northern Vermont on Friday. Although Cormorants are native to the area, this one was found far from any large bodies of water. We're happy to report that the bird was safely released back into the wild!
