Our wonderful intern, Antonia Palacios, put together this touching highlight of her time working with us! ❤️ It am so proud of how much she grew during her time at our agency, and the way my team (especially Avery Simon) fostered such a welcoming environment for her. Helping young professionals learn new skills is a cornerstone of what we do at MG Media Creative!

Today I had one of my clients offer some "unsolicited" coaching advice. This client is a globally recognized executive leadership coach, public speaker, best selling author, and obtains many accolades... So having him take just one minute from his busy day to pass on his simple insight that will elevate my communication skills was actually pleasantly welcomed and highly appreciated. This feedback sprouted from a recap email I had sent after one of our marketing consults. I typically send this recap within a few hours of meeting with my clients, however, this day I was unable to prioritize that email until the next morning. I opened my email with "I apologize for the delay..." He challenged me to rephrase this line and say this instead: "Thank you for your patience..." Opting for this language instead keeps us on equal footing and subtly suggests you’re on top of things even though timing may be a bit off. As I absorbed his feedback, I had a moment of gratitude for the opportunity that I have to work with individuals of a higher status who are willing to reach down and elevate those around them without asking for anything in return. It was a great reminder of how important it is to surround yourself with people who know more than you, have more experience than you, and have achieved the goals you are striving for yourself. Feeling especially grateful for the experience I've gained and the relationships and network I have built through my employment with MG Media Creative.
