The best job of my career, BY FAR! An incredible team and a hugely supportive pair of owners (Churchill Downs Incorporated and Delaware North) that help to build an unrivaled work experience. A GM role that is so much more than this level role anywhere else. The ability to run all aspects of the business and make meaningful decisions under the direction of a very supportive Board. It is time for me to step aside and let someone else run this great asset. I am looking forward to taking a sabbatical so I can determine what the next chapter in life looks like. For now, I am excited to just be a husband and dad for a while. I will let you know if I end up back in the game or just hanging with the family at our new home in Wisconsin.
