In support of Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava’s Vision Zero commitment, the Miami-Dade Department of Transportation, District 5, and Miami DDA have installed 170 separation devices to create protected bike lanes along North Miami Avenue and NE 1st Avenue. These lanes improve cyclist safety, promote slower #traffic speeds, and prevent vehicle parking in bike zones. The project also includes marine-grade planters featuring native plants, enhancing both #safety and the #aesthetic of #DowntownMiami.
