About us

Michigan State University's School of Planning, Design and Construction aims at creating a sustainable built and natural environment that enriches communities through leadership, entrepreneurial creativity, social responsibility, and environmentally sustainable planning and policy. Programs established as early as 1898, SPDC has a history of producing successful graduates in diverse careers across disciplines of Construction Management, Interior Design, Urban and Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture spanning bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The school also houses the National Charrette Institute.
