Why Are Environmental Remediation Services Important? Environmental remediation services are crucial for revitalizing contaminated land, protecting human health, and enhancing economic and ecological value. In a world filled with finite things let us preserve what we have left. Check out our recent blog to read more in depth about why these services are important. https://lnkd.in/gHvd9FQi

About us
Microbial Insights (MI) is a biotechnology laboratory specializing in the development and application of cutting edge molecular biological tools (MBTs) and environmental molecular diagnostics (EMDs) to describe and quantify microbial communities. Environmental Remediation: CENSUS qPCR and QuantArray analyses to quantify bacteria and functional genes involved in contaminant biodegradation including Dehalococcoides. Stable isotope probing (SIP) and Compound Specific Isotope Analysis (CSIA) to conclusively determine whether biodegradation is occurring in situ. Microbial Induced Corrosion: DNA based molecular microbiological methods (MMM) for accurate and comprehensive quantification of microorganisms responsible for MIC such as sulfate reducing bacteria and methanogens. Microbial Source Tracking: Quantify host associated biomarkers such as HF183 to identify sources of fecal pollution. MI has 26 years of experience in MBTs and EMDs and we recognize that state-of-the-art technologies must be coupled with personalized customer service. We are committed to serving our clients at each step in the process from assay selection through data interpretation.

When choosing a lab, it’s essential to consider more than just price. Some labs may offer lower-cost testing, but that affordability often comes with a hidden cost: sometimes they sacrifice quality and often they’re funded by the same products they test. This creates a conflict of interest that can affect the integrity of results, especially when the data is used to justify or validate the products being sold. At Microbial Insights, our commitment is to objective, actionable data. We do not sell products, we are not owned by a consulting firm, and we have no vested interest in specific outcomes. We work with over 5,000 companies (consulting firms, regulatory agencies, product vendors and other laboratories) globally. Our sole focus is to provide you with clear, unbiased insights to support your projects and empower you with reliable data. Why Microbial Insights? 🔬 Independent Testing: No product sales, no affliations, no conflicts of interest. 🏆 100% Unbiased Results: Every test is focused on accuracy and transparency. 📊 Actionable Data: Reliable insights to help you make informed, confident decisions. In a world where data drives decisions, choose a lab you can trust—choose Microbial Insights.

Natural Source Zone Depletion (NSZD) is a natural process that helps break down petroleum contamination in the ground. This happens through several mechanisms, including dissolving the contaminants, turning them into gases, and breaking them down with the help of microbes. The most important process is called methanogenesis, where certain microorganisms, like Methanomicrobia and Methanobacteria, play a major role. Recent studies show that these microbial communities are key to the success of NSZD. At Microbial Insights, our tools like 🧬CENSUS® qPCR, 🦠QuantArray®-NSZD, 🔬Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) provide valuable data on these microbial processes, helping us better understand NSZD’s role in environmental remediation. Learn more in our QuantArray®-NSZD blog: https://lnkd.in/d_geDEkD or check out NSZD under our Services by Corrective Action Plan: https://lnkd.in/gRX9z-45
