I’m thrilled to share that Microsoft has won the Brandon Hall Group Gold award for excellence in the category of Best Learning Program that Supports and Promotes Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. This recognition celebrates our innovative D&I Simulations, which provide an experiential, immersive learning option for our employees.    Creating and sustaining an inclusive workplace requires new skills, and our D&I Simulations were developed with this understanding, offering an engaging way for employees to refine their allyship skills. Through realistic workplace scenarios, employees can practice skills acquired from our rich D&I learning portfolio, receiving in-the-moment feedback and guidance.    Through our journey to build an understanding of foundational D&I concepts and core language, Microsoft has partnered with leading academics and organizations and leveraged technology to craft unique employee D&I learning offerings, grounded in neuroscience and habit formation.     Thank you to our team for continuing to do the work and developing award-winning learning programs. Together we are creating a more inclusive workplace by being intentional in our everyday actions and behaviors.

Last week, our team received the Brandon Hall Group Gold award for excellence in the category of Best Learning Program that Supports and Promotes Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. This award recognizes the groundbreaking work behind our efforts developing and introducing the D&I Simulations experience as our newest employee learning series. This journey started as a vision—a dream of what a modern, impactful learning solution could look like. Today, I’m incredibly honored and proud to see that vision brought to life, thanks to an amazing partnership with global e-learning design agency, ETU, and the unwavering dedication of Danielle Journo and Juliana C. from my team. Together, we’ve made this dream a reality.  D&I Simulations offer our employees a dedicated virtual space to actively practice and refine the skills they've gained from our broader D&I portfolio. Through immersive, real-world workplace scenarios, learners can apply their allyship skills in a safe, low-risk environment. These simulations offer multiple opportunities for practice, coupled with real-time feedback, to reinforce learning and foster lasting behavior change. This innovative approach marks a significant advancement in Microsoft’s D&I capability-building efforts, offering a dynamic and interactive platform that accelerates meaningful growth and development.   This award is a powerful testament to the impact that D&I Simulations will continue to have in shaping the future of our workplace, empowering Microsoft employees to drive meaningful change from within.

At current rates of deforestation, we stand to lose nearly half of the Amazon rainforest by 2050, devastating the diverse species that call it home. However, #AI is providing researchers with new opportunities to shift momentum in this fight. Data that would have previously taken months to analyze can now be processed in minutes. Learn how Project Guacamaya is giving us new eyes and ears in the forest to help protect, restore, and regenerate this critical habitat. https://lnkd.in/eDQ-9fQ6 Microsoft

Fiscal year 2024 was an extraordinary year at Microsoft. It started with us coining the term AI Transformation, and today Copilots are defining how AI is empowering human achievement.   We established how AI Transformation enriches employee experiences, reinvents customer engagement, reshapes business processes, and bends the curve on pragmatic innovation. Our differentiated approach is helping our customers and partners harness AI responsibly, securely, and with purpose.   To illustrate this, I am pleased to share twenty inspirational stories from the past year—stories that demonstrate how AI Transformation delivered tangible business outcomes and value for organizations around the world. https://lnkd.in/gQAKJTcU   I am so proud of the work we did alongside all our customers and partners, and I look forward to what we will achieve together in the year ahead!
