Education and demonstration are the bedrock of our business. We will take the time to educate you on proper saddle fit and allow the horse and saddle to demonstrate fit and comfort. We will not just sell you a saddle by telling you that it fits, we will explain to you why it fits, what your horse is experiencing, and how that will influence movement and comfort for both horse and rider. About us
Mid Atlantic Saddlery and Tack Repair (MASTR) was founded after combining a love for leather work and horses. Co-founded by an animal behaviorist, we provide a science based approach to saddle fitting and equestrian care. Matt and Lauren are Society of Master Saddlers' apprentices and will be continuing apprenticeship under the tutelage of Ridgley Davis, a saddler with 30+ years of experience. Ridgley joined the MASTR team in November 2023 and we are excited to have him on the team growing with us. MASTR provides saddle fitting services, saddle and tack repairs, and saddle sales for their Premium brands: Albion, Bliss/Loxley of London, Berney Brothers of Ireland and Passier.
