Mental health advocacy goes beyond the walls of one organization and at Mightier, our team is so honored to work with and learn from so many change makers who have paved the way. As we always say, mental health is a multiplayer game. 💪

I've recently gotten to know some of the people at Mightier and am so impressed with the work they are doing to help children who are struggling with behavioral and mental health challenges, and their families. As many of you know, I worked for nearly 7 years for Twill (formerly Happify Health) in the digital mental health space. Our products were primarily for adults but I regularly heard from our clients about the need for products and services to support children. So the work that Mightier is doing is particularly close to my heart and fills such an important gap. Mightier recently releases a new proprietary study in which they outlined the intersection between work and parenting and confirms the essential role Mightier plays in supporting families and confirming that when kids struggle, parents struggle. I hope you'll take a look: https://lnkd.in/gkXjR6Ba

We are thrilled to share Contemporary Pediatrics article "Digital Therapeutics and What They Can Do For Mental Health" highlighting a recent interview with Jason Kahn and his take on the necessity of digital therapeutics (dtx) as a referral solution for pediatricians. “We're asking pediatricians to do more and more, and I don't think we've done a great job helping pediatricians understand how the digital mental health landscape is evolving and changing, and what options are available to them. Trying to get the word out and have pediatricians understand what these tools are is one of the biggest challenges, especially in the context of asking pediatricians to be all sorts of people and wear all sorts of hats for the patients coming into their offices.” Learn more about our take on: -what digital therapeutics really are -how Mightier supports kids and families as a dtx -how pediatricians can truly leverage dtx to help support mental health https://bit.ly/3SNFT9D #pediatrics #pediatricians #mentalhealth

This week, Mightier co-founders, Jason Kahn and Craig Lund were honored to attend The The Kennedy Forum and be among an incredible group of organizations and individuals working hard to change the landscape of healthcare. From where we are sitting, the future or mental healthcare is looking pretty Mighty! 💪 (BTS: this MIGHTY photo was only made possible by Jason and Craig's willingness to give in to marketing requests. And we love it.) #kennedyforum #Lionforum #mentalhealth

The pediatric mental health crisis is not just about children. 💙 Families operate as systems, with child well being directly impacting caregiver well being and vice versa. That means that when children struggle, so do their parents in real, measurable, and consequential ways. We are thrilled to share our latest ebook, which provides a much-needed perspective on the interaction between child mental health and caregiver work-life revealing the role Mightier plays in improving caregivers’ work experience. In case you missed it! 💪 Our family programming has been all about sensory awareness and mindfulness this month (because yes, sensory processing and preferences, and how those impact emotions and behaviors is hugely important for Mightier kids!). Check out a replay of this educational workshop for caregivers, as well as the family-centered activity pack that helps children build awareness of their sensory preferences through play. Children don’t always have the language or emotional awareness to tell us how they feel. That means difficult emotions like fear, embarrassment, disappointment, or loneliness can get misplaced, misinterpreted, and misdirected toward the people they trust most. Mightier is built for kids, but also for the caregivers who love them. That means we build a world for kids and a world of support for families. Check out this family-centered resource from our clinical team: https://hubs.la/Q02HZvkX0 It outlines common phrases kids say during moments of emotional dysregulation, helps untangle their meaning, and provides caregivers with strategies for how to respond and meet their child's needs. #Parenting #KidsMentalHealth #FamilyWellness
