During last week's National ESOP Association Conference in DC, the Mid-Atlantic and Carolina's Chapter (MACC) was awarded the 2024 Chapter Membership Development Award for bringing in the most new members of any chapter in the nation - 18 companies! As current MAC President, Kim accepted the award alongside the other Chapter Officers in attendance, representing ESOP companies from North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia.

🌟👏 On behalf of all members in the Mid-Atlantic & Carolinas Chapter of the ESOP Association, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to our past chapter President, Roland Burdett, III. 🙌 👉Roland's remarkable service and unwavering dedication to the association made a profound difference in the lives of our members. 🌟 💼 Throughout his tenure, Roland demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to our mission, guiding us with wisdom, passion, and integrity. His tireless efforts have strengthened our chapter in countless ways, and his vision has propelled us forward, even in the face of challenges during the pandemic years. 💪🏼📈 🙏Your willingness to volunteer your time and expertise as our president has not gone unnoticed. 🌟

MSI has a 100% success rate in throwing axes without injury. We are also 100% employee owned! Coincidence? We had a great time at Axes and O’s on Thursday, celebrating Leap Day, learning a new skill, and catching up. Thanks to our EOC for the great event.

Visiting other ESOP companies is fun! This week, Kim visited Collaborative Testing Services Inc (CTS) in Sterling, VA to share ideas on employee-ownership and employee engagement with CTS's 35 employee owners. CTS is a 100% employee-owned company dedicated to helping medical and forensic labs meet their quality assurance goals. Kim and CTS talked about ways that both companies recruit for the right "fit", shared ideas for ESOP events and education, and exchanged tips/tricks for successful events.
