Several members of the Stream team attended the MHFD’s webinar series last week on “Urban Stormwater & Stream Function for Planners”, where we learned more about how planners, engineers and designers can work together to mitigate the impacts of urbanization on our local waterways. This webinar series emphasized the importance of taking a systems approach to stormwater planning to improve stream function and protect critical natural resources, while highlighting the need for cross discipline collaboration for successful project planning and implementation.
