A message from the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs Dr. Lester Martinez on his departure from the Military Health System: Serving in this position for the past 18 months has been a profound honor. Together, we have made significant strides in stabilizing and strengthening the Military Health System, especially in our efforts to reattract patients to our facilities. Always remember, this is not about us. It's about the people we serve and providing them with the best care possible. I am grateful for the dedication of my colleagues across Health Affairs, the Defense Health Agency, the military medical services, the Joint Staff Surgeon and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Our collective commitment has set the stage for a robust future. I leave you in the capable hands of my Principal Deputy, Ms. Seileen Mullen, and our exceptional Deputy Assistant Secretaries. I look forward to staying connected and witnessing the continued success of our initiatives. Thank you for your support and collaboration! https://lnkd.in/eCHFi68Y
